Position Title: Maintenance Welder Emergency Responder
Employment Status: Full Time/ Non Exempt/Craft
Location: Big Hill - Winnie, TX

Summary of Primary Responsibilities:  
Under general direction performs certified electrical and gas welding tasks, including weld repairs, leak repairs, and pipe fabrication for replacement in process systems and miscellaneous systems, including structures and site support equipment Reads and interprets plans and specifications for welding and fabrications and follows welding procedures. Under general direction removes and installs equipment such as pump motors, valves, pump piping, and performs preventive maintenance on same. Removes and installs wellhead piping for workover or maintenance Under general direction performs spot painting as required to preserve and protect equipment until painters can be scheduled. Performs internal pipe inspections when needed. Under general direction operates support equipment necessary to the proper and effective performance of assigned duties. Under general direction assists subcontractors in performance of preventive and corrective maintenance. Ensures proper and timely preparation of all required work-related documentation. Performs other duties as assigned following approved procedures. Under general direction performs duties of Emergency Response Team (ERT) member during actual emergency incidents and training sessions, to include responses to fires, hazardous materials incidents, oil spills, and medical emergencies within the levels of training provided.

Qualifications:  
REQUIRED: High School Diploma or GED plus a welding certification from an accredited school and three years welding experience OR five years practical experience in welding. Must be capable of performing journeyman level work. Must Pass API-1104 certification through a multiple qualification exam. DESIRED: Certification through an approved welding maintenance training program CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES: Valid Class E State Drivers License
