It is SSP's policy to allow an employee to carry 1 year of vacation credits earned. Approval to use must be given by your immediate supervisor or manager.
Personal / Sick Leave
As a new employee, you will be granted 80 hours of Personal/Sick leave if your hire date is between January 2nd through June 30th. You will be granted 40 hours of Personal/Sick leave if your hire date is after July 1st. Each January you will be granted 80 hours of Personal/Sick leave. Personal/Sick leave can be used in the event of an employee's or immediate family member's injury or illness. Personal/Sick leave may also be used for personal business and site closures due to inclement weather. Approval to use Personal/Sick leave must be received by your supervisor or manager.
