Summary of Primary Responsibilities:
Supervise the timely review and processing of maintenance work orders in accordance with established priority guidelines for initiation, data entry, and development of a work package under Level of Repair (LOR) for Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) equipment following approved procedures. Ensures approved maintenance policy/procedural requirements are implemented and followed. Assures that safety and environmental rules and regulations are being followed. Ensures proper and timely preparation of all required work-related documentation. Create weekly maintenance schedules and coordinate yearly outages. Schedule and coordinate weekly planning meetings with sight personell.
Assess work to be performed to determine/decide resource required (material, labor, equipment, etc.) to complete work order. These assessments may often require a physical field assessment to validate description section of a work order is representative of the task to be completed and all required parts are identified
Review applicable Material Management System reports and provide interface between property, procurement and maintenance regarding parts and materials. To include assisting maintenance manager in efficient execution of the maintenance budget.
Interface regularly with site functional leaders to provide support as needed through meetings, phone calls or e-mail. To include working with other maintenance supervisors, operations and others to develop a weekly maintenance schedule
Provides oversight, performs inspections, and evaluates maintenance related problems.
Ensures proper and timely preparation of all related documentation.
Performs other duties as assigned following approved procedures.

Qualifications:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
REQUIRED: Associate Degree\trade school certificate of graduation in Electrical or Electronics Technology or mechanical maintenance and eight years of experience OR ten years experience in an industrial/petrochemical plant as a Journeyman Craftsman (electrician, I&E Tech or mechanic)
DESIRED: 5 years? experience with a maintenance ERP such as SAP.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES: Valid Class E State Drivers License. This position requires that the incumbent maintain a security clearance.
