SPR Electrical Preventive Maintenance Program
1. Responsible for the planning and scheduling of major electrical PM activities
2. Co-ordinate with other organizations, sub-contractors, manufacturers, utilities and sites on a continuous basis
3. Prepare scope of work, drawings and specifications for each individual task
4. Ensure the proper funding and timely input of purchase document for the project
5. Arrange site visits, conduct meetings, resolve issue and perform technical evaluation
6. Serve as company representative, technical advisor, test director, and assistant to the SMTR in different phases of the project and electrical shutdowns
7. Oversee the safety and operation aspect of the shutdown and start-up
8. Provide technical direction to site and subcontractors for the effective execution of preventive maintenance services contracts
9. Witness major testing activities in the field or at the vendors’ shops
10. Review and analyze test data, providing input and deficiency report to management.
11. Update procedure and work instruction for the SPR conduct of operation
12. Keep current on new technology, product and testing methods
13. Conduct inspection of electrical equipment at site on a regular basis
14. Revise and modify steps in existing MRC and develop new ones as necessary
15. Compile reports and evaluate program
SPR Predictive Maintenance Program
1. Provide technical guidance for sonic and MCE application.
2. Ensure the systematic collection, interpretation and reporting of data
3. Co-ordinate with sites and vendors to improve the process
4. Perform line item audit ensuring compliance at all level
5. Furnish advice and resolve problem on an as needed basis
6. Administer the annual calibration and maintenance contract
Site Support
1. Assist site personnel in trouble-shooting and equipment evaluation
2. Prepare ECP (engineering change proposal), SOW (statement of work) and CMP (corrective maintenance procedure) for minor system modification and repair
3. Provide training for site technicians in specific area
4. Serve as back-up for site maintenance and electrical personnel
5. Provide consultation to site engineers and maintenance managers
6. Monitor site activities noting major deficiency, abnormality and non-compliance
7. Review site specific electrical safety program and task specific switching procedure
8. Revise electrical drawings
Engineering / Maintenance Support
1. Provide technical support to SPR site on electrical equipment repair
2. Revise, modify and develop maintenance specification
3. Perform analyses to improve efficiency and productivity of maintenance program and ensuring the reliability and maintainability of equipment
4. Perform calculation and cost estimate, prepare drawings and specification, develop scope of work and test procedure for special project
5. Participate in design reviews (30%, 100%), providing comment on electrical items
6. Input RRB (readiness review board) ensuring maintenance requirement are in place
7. Conduct failure analysis and other investigative reports as assigned
8. Review major engineering study, analyze system data, interact with A/E, and define Maintenance’s position
9. Provide consultation to customers and management
10. Perform other administrative function and duties as required

Qualifications:
REQUIRED
BS degree in Electrical Engineering and 5 plus years of industrial experience in the electrical engineering and maintenance arena. Candidates with more than 5 years of experience will be hired at the senior level . Candidates with 5 years experience will be hired at the staff level.
All candidates must have working knowledge of electrical design and testing standards, in particular the NEC, the IEEE and the NETA specification.
Must have knowledge of testing of major electrical equipment used in power distribution. (high voltage and 4160 volts).
Proficiency with personal computer along with good communication and writing skill is essential.
Must have knowledge of electrical and instrumentation PM and Pdm best practices.
Must be able to travel to site every 6 months for approximately 2 weeks at a time for electrical shutdowns. Some travel maybe on short notice.
DESIRED
Electrical Engineering degree in Instrumentation and Electrical is preferred. Administration and supervision skills along with SPR site experience is desirable for this position. Experience in facility maintenance and electrical equipment testing is a plus. Knowledge of SAP in creating and managing electrical and instrumentation PMs.
