Position Title: Maintenance Electrician Emergency Responder
Employment Status: Full Time/Craft Non Exempt
Location: Big Hill - Winnie, TX

Summary of Primary Responsibilities:  
Under general direction performs corrective maintenance i.e., troubleshooting, repair, inspection, and functional testing of all site electrical systems, and equipment such as contactors, protective relays, circuit breakers, disconnects, lighting, transformers, motors, motor operated valves and cabling systems authorized under Level of Repair (LOR) for Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) equipment. Under general direction performs preventive/predictive maintenance on all site electrical systems and equipment following approved procedures. Under general direction operates support equipment necessary to the proper and effective performance of assigned duties. Assists operations personnel with equipment lockout/tagout. Ensures proper and timely preparation of all required work related documentation. Reads and interprets schematics, wiring diagrams, specifications, and follows state, local, and national codes. Under general direction assists subcontractors in performing preventive and corrective maintenance. Performs other duties as assigned following approved procedures .Ensures proper and timely preparation of all required work related documentation. Under general direction performs duties of Emergency Response Team (ERT) member during actual emergency incidents and training sessions, to include responses to fires, hazardous materials incidents, oil spills, and medical emergencies within the levels of training provided.

Qualifications:  
REQUIRED: Associate degree from accredited school and three years experience OR HS diploma and five years of experience in electrical systems maintenance. DESIRED: Certification through an approved electrical training/apprenticeship program desired. CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES: Valid State Drivers License.
